Q. How do I know what my home is worth?
A.  I always do FREE Home Evaluations. Give me a call and I would be happy to give you a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) for your home. This analysis provides information on the most recent sold’s in your neighbourhood and comparable listings for sale on the Saskatoon MLS to determine an accurate listing price.

Q. How much do I pay for a realtor when selling my home? What do I get?
A. My commissions are a 6-4-2 structure based on value of your home (6% on first 100K, 4% on second 100K, and 2% on the remainder). When using a realtor, you get a thorough marketing plan, negotiation for best price, finding buyers, looking out for your best interests (expertise) making sure is dotted ts crossed guide you through process and ensures success.

Q. How much money do I need?
A. There are several costs associated when buying a new home. Below are some of the more common initial costs you will need to consider:

  • Deposit – Varies based on purchase price (minimum $2,000)
  • Home inspection – Approximately $150-$350
  • Down Payment – Minimum 5% of the purchase price of your home
  • Lawyers – Approximately $1,000 – $1,500

Q. How do I get a mortgage?
A. When getting a mortgage, it is very important to deal with an experienced mortgage broker.  They are working for you with your best interest in mind and will give you a pre-approved dollar amount. Your mortgage broker will ensure you get both the best rate available and submit a complete application on your behalf.
